The Best Modern Font Pairings for Squarespace

Have you struggled with getting a good match for fonts? There are so many fonts available on Squarespace. As a designer, I sometimes feel overwhelmed sorting through all of the available fonts.

When people visit your site, how do you want them to see you? As modern, clean, elegant, or classic? It’s important to choose the right fonts that resonate with your brand so you can attract your ideal target clients. When I select fonts for a website, I check that the fonts are clean, modern, and readable.

For example, when people visit your site and find that the text is hard to read, they will likely leave your site without ever reading your message. When people see that your site uses fonts that are outdated or unprofessional, they won’t trust your products or services. That is why it’s very important to select your fonts carefully.

Here are a few tips for typography

These typography tips will help you to elevate your website and attract your target audience.

Only use 2-3 fonts to keep it clean and simple. I normally choose 2 distinctive typefaces such as Serif or Sans serif to keep it easy-to-read.

Adjust letter-spacing and line-height to make it easier-to-read

Create a hierarchy with different fonts and sizes ( Header - Subheader - Body copy ) to get key information across to your site visitors.
